What ages are the children involved in the program?

The program curriculum is designed for children in elementary and middle school.

What is the quality of the staff?

The Diamonds in the Rough program utilizes PGA professional staff to instruct the children. Assistants are also available and all have a background in golf. Our staff have all completed the DCF approved background screening program.

Can I make a donation in honor of someone else?

Donating in honor of someone who appreciates and values the lessons and character that golf can provide is a wonderful idea. Simply indicate the person who you wish to honor and a special notification will be made to that person.

Is the program open to boys and girls?

Absolutely!

How can I volunteer?

Golfers and non-golfers are always welcome! Please contact us to discuss how you’d like to participate.

I know a child interested in participating in the program, how can they get involved?

Children are coordinated through our partner agencies, the City of Hollywood, FL and the Orangebrook Country Club. Please call all our office for additional information at 954-967-4221.

How much does it cost for my child to participate?

We are committed to assuring that cost will not be a barrier to participation in our program.

Can companies donate goods and services for events?

Yes, in planning our annual fundraising golf tournament, as well as other events, various types of assistance are needed.
